Type K copper tubing shall be used up to and <br /> <br />including two inch services. All underground joints to be mechanical. <br /> <br />Joints on copper tubing shall be kept to a minimum, with not more than <br /> <br />one joint used for service up to 70 feet in length. All joints and <br /> <br />connections shall be left uncovered until inspected and tested at normal <br /> <br />water line pressure. All services over two inch shall be cast iron. <br /> <br />Connections with the mains for domestic supply shall be at least 3/4 <br /> <br />inch. <br /> <br />66.110. Private Water Supplies. No water pipe of the water <br /> <br />system shall be connected with any pump, well, tank, or piping that is <br /> <br />connected with any other source of water supply. <br /> <br />66.120. Use Confined to Premises. No person shall permit <br /> <br />water from the water system to be used for any purpose except upon his <br /> <br />own premises unless written consent is obtained from the Utilities <br /> <br />Superintendent. <br /> <br />66.130. <br /> <br />Connections Beyond Villaqe Boundaries. Where water <br /> <br />mains of the Village are in any street or alley adjacent to or outside <br /> <br />the corporate limits of the Village, the Village Council may issue <br /> <br />permits to the owners or occupants of properties adjacent or accessible <br /> <br />to such water mains to make proper water service pipe connections with <br /> <br />such water mains of the Village and to be supplied with water in <br /> <br />conformity with the applicable provisions of this chapter and subject to <br /> <br />-4- <br />
