<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. ,,;/C t <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE <br /> <br />OF ROSEVILLE BY AMENDING SECTIONS 66.100, 66.200, 66.310, 66.400, <br /> <br />and 66.420, of Chapter 66. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 66.100 of the Village Code of the Village of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />66.100 Service Pipes. Every service pipe must be <br /> <br />laid sufficiently waving to allow not less than one foot of <br /> <br />extra length and in such manner as to prevent rupture by settle- <br /> <br />mente The service pipe must be placed no less than seven feet <br /> <br />below the surface and in all cases so arranged as to prevent <br /> <br />rupture by freezing. Service pipes must extend from the curb box <br /> <br />to the inside of the building; or, if not taken into a building, <br /> <br />then to the hydrant or other fixtures which it is intended to <br /> <br />supply. Type K copper tubing shall be used up to and including <br /> <br />two inch services. All underground joints to be mechanical, <br /> <br />unless otherwise approved by the Utilities Superintendent. Joints <br /> <br />on copper tubing shall be kept to a minimum, with not more than <br />
