EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, February 24, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, CUshman, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Counci1member CUshman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8760 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS P-92-03 AND ST-92-11, NEIGHBORHOOD 2, OLD HIGHWAY 8 AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFORE UNDER AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e adopted January 27, 1992, fixed a date for a public hearing on Projects P-92-02 and ST-92-11, Neighborhood 2; and WHEREAS, ten day~ mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on February 24, 1992, to consider the proposed construction of Improvements P-92-03 and ST-92-11, Neighborhood 2, consisting of the installation bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer service repair, drainage facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting Old Highway 8, County Road C-2 to county Road D, and that area lying 500 feet north of County Road C-2 between Old Highway 8 and State Highway 88 and that area lying 1,000 feet south of County Road C-2 between Old Highway 8 and State Highway 88 as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $771,539.66 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the project and is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember P. Johnson and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
