<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, February 24, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, <br />Cushman, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8761 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENTS P-92-04 AND ST-92-11, NEIGHBORHOOD 2, COUNTY ROAD C-2 <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFORE UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />adopted January 27, 1992, fixed a date for a public hearing on Projects <br />P-92-04 and ST-92-11, Neighborhood 2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on February <br />24, 1992, to consider the proposed construction of Improvements P-92-02 <br />and ST-92-11, Neighborhood 2, consisting of the installation bituminous <br />paving, concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer service repair, <br />drainage facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that property <br />abutting County Road C-2, Old Highway 8 to Highway 88, and that area <br />lying 500 feet north of county Road C-2 between Old Highway 8 and State <br />Highway 88 and that area lying 1,000 feet south of County Road C-2 <br />between Old Highway 8 and State Highway 88 as described in the Notice of <br />Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $155,253.72 and substantially <br />in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof <br />which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all <br />persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the <br />Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be <br />constructed and financed. The city Public Works Director is designated <br />as the Engineer for the project and is directed to prepare and submit to <br />the Council the final plans and specifications for the improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cushman and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Thomas, Maschka, P. <br />Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the <br />same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
