<br />110.300. CLEANLINESS. All employees shall wear <br /> <br />clean outer garments, maintain a high degree of personal <br /> <br />cleanliness, and conform to hygienic practices while on duty. <br /> <br />They shall wash their hands thoroughly in an approved hand <br /> <br />washing fac~lity before starting work, and ~s often as <br /> <br />necessary t~ remove soil and contaminationq No employee <br /> <br />shall resum. work after visiting the toileq room without <br /> <br /> <br />first washing his hands. All employees en~aged in food <br /> <br /> <br />preparation or service shall wear hairnets, head bands, <br /> <br />caps or other effective devices designed to keep hair from <br /> <br />food and food-contact surfaces. <br /> <br />110.310. TOBACCO. No person shall expectorate or <br /> <br />use tobacco in any form while engaged in food preparation <br /> <br />or service or while cleaning utensils and equipment, provided <br /> <br />that designated areas may be approved by the Health Authority <br /> <br />for smoking. <br />110.320. FOOD EQUIPMENT AND UTENSILS. All equipment <br /> <br />.and multi-use utensils shall be so designed and of such material <br /> <br />and workmanship as to be smooth, easily cleanable, resistant <br /> <br />to wear, denting, buckling, pitting, chipping, and crazing; <br /> <br />and capable of withstanding repeated scrubbing, scouring and <br /> <br />the abrasive and corrosive action of cleaning and sanitizing <br /> <br />agents, food and other normal conditions of use.
