<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, February 24, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Thomas, Maschka, P. Johnson, <br />Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Thomas introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8765 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT P-92-09, NEIGHBORHOOD 54, <br />COMMERCE STREET AND STATE FARM ROAD <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFORE UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />adopted January 27, 1992, fixed a date for a public hearing on Project <br />P-92-09, Neighborhood 54; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on February <br />24, 1992, to consider the proposed construction of Improvement P-92-09, <br />Neighborhood 54, consisting of mill and overlay for Commerce Street from <br />Snelling Frontage Road to Hamline Avenue and State Farm Road from <br />Commerce Street to County Road B, at a cost presently estimated at <br />$109,061.27 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report <br />as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the <br />city Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all <br />interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that <br />said improvement shall be constructed and financed. The City Public <br />Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the project and is <br />directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and <br />specifications for the improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Thomas and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Thomas, Maschka, P. <br />Johnson, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the <br />same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
