<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ 7{; <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE PAY FOR VILLAGE <br />EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA1 BY ADDING SECTION 254.065 THERETO: <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minne sota, <br /> <br />ordains: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of RoseviUe, Minne sota, <br /> <br />is hereby amended by adding Section 254.065 thereto, which shall read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />254.065. Severance Pay. Regular employees of the Village <br /> <br />of Roseville with 10 years of serving who leave Village employment <br /> <br />because of retirement or layoff due to a reduction in work force or <br /> <br />change in municipal operations, shall be paid in addition to other <br /> <br />compensation, a severance payment. The severance pay shall be in an <br /> <br />amount which equals 50% of the accumulated sick leave said employee <br /> <br />would be enti tIed to receive, but in no event shall such severance pay <br /> <br />exceed the equivalent of one month's pay at the employee's wage rate at <br /> <br />the time of such separation. <br />
