<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO 477 <br />.- <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE INVOLVING THE RESTRICTION OF CERTAIN SALES <br />ON THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK, AND AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA. BY AMENDING SECTIONS 172.010 <br />AND 172.020 THEREOF: <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br /> <br />Minnesota, ordains: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />is hereby amended by amending Sections 172.010 and 172.020, which <br /> <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />"172.010. Definition of Persons. <br /> <br />"Persons" as used in <br /> <br />this Ordinance shall mean any individual, parternship, corporation, <br /> <br />association, or other group however organized, including corporation <br /> <br />directors and officers, and the manager of the place where the <br /> <br />violation occurs." <br /> <br />"172.020. Certain Sales Prohibited on Sunday. On the first <br /> <br />day of the week, commonly known and designated as Sunday, and on <br /> <br />New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, <br /> <br />Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, it shall be unlawful for any <br /> <br />persons to attempt to sell or engage in the business of selling <br /> <br />any of the following items: Clothing and wearing apparel, clothing <br /> <br />accessories, footwear, furniture, furs, housewares, household, <br /> <br />business or office furnishings and appliances, hardware, tools, <br /> <br />paints, building materials and supplies, jewelry, cameras, <br />
