(,.1..-2- <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY ADDING SECTION 14.045 AND AMENDING <br />SECTION 14.600 PROHIBITING ADVERTISING SIGNS WITHIN THE VILlAGE. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Chapter l4 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended by adding Section 14.045 to read as follows: <br /> <br />l4. 045. Advertising Signs Prohibited. Advertising <br />signs shall not be permitted in any district in the Village. <br />No person shall maintain or erect an advertising sign on <br />property controlled by him. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />l4.600 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />l4.600. Sign Regulations in "I" Districts. Within <br />the" 1-l" and "1-2" Districts, name plate signs, busines s <br />signs and advertising signs are permitted subject to the <br />following regulations: <br /> <br />(1) The number of square feet in the gros s surface <br />area of all business signs and name plate signs per lot <br />shall not exceed the sum of 4 square feet per front foot <br />of building, plus 1 square foot for each lOOO square feet <br />devoted to off-street parking. The least width of a corner <br />lot shall be the front for purposes of this Chapter. No <br />individual busines s sign surface shall exceed 600 square <br />
