<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 625 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 163 BY ADOPTING <br />BY REFERENCE AIR POLLUTION CONTROL RULES, REGULATIONS, <br />AND AIR QUALITY STANDARDS OF MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL <br />AGENCY, 1969 EDITION, AND PROHIBITING OPEN BURNING IN <br />THE VILLAGE AFTER AUGUST 1, 1970. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />does hereby ordain as follows: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 163 will read as follows: <br /> <br />163. Air Pollution Control <br /> <br />163.010. Adopted by Reference. Air Pollution Control <br />Rules, Regulations, and Air Quality standards of Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency, 1969 Edition, is hereby adopted <br />by reference into the village Code of the Village of Rose- <br />ville as if fully set forth. <br /> <br />163.020. Definition. The following definition shall <br />apply to Chapter 163. <br /> <br />(1) Open Fires. Open fire is any fire except <br />a recreational fire from which the products of com- <br />bustion are emitted directly into the atmosphere <br />without passing through any control equipment. <br /> <br />(2) Control Equipment. Control equipment shall <br />mean any device, approved by the Minnesota Pollution <br />Control Agency, which has the function of controlling <br />or abating the emission of air contaminants to the <br />atmosphere. <br /> <br />(3) Recreational Fires. Recreational Fires are <br />small fires started for cooking or other recreational <br />purposes and not for the purpose of disposing of any <br />refuse or other material. <br />
