<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORD INANCE NO .:~ 30 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE VILLAGE <br />CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY ADDING SECTIONS 34.260 <br />AND 34.270 AND 34.280 PERTAINING TO SWIMMING POOLS. <br /> <br />The village Council of the Village of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain as follows: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 34 of the Village Code of the Village of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended by adding Sections 34.260 and <br /> <br />34.270 and 34.280 to read as follows: <br /> <br />34.260. Swimming Pools-Permit. <br /> <br />(1) A building permit shall be required for any <br />swimming pool with a capacity over 1,000 <br />gallons or with a depth of over 3 feet of <br />water. <br />(2) An application for a building permit shall <br />show: <br /> <br />(a) The type and size of pool. <br />(b) A site plan indicating the following: <br />location of the pool; location of <br />house, garage, fencing, and other <br />improvements on the lot; location of <br />structures on all adjacent lots; lo- <br />cation of filter unit, pump, and <br />wiring indicating the type of such <br />units; location of back-flush and <br />drainage outlets; grading plan, fin- <br />ished elevations and final treatment <br />(decking, landscaping, etc.) around <br />the pool; location of existing over- <br />head or underground wiring, utility <br />easements, trees, and similar features; <br />location of any water heating unit. <br />
