<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 640 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 252 .l70 OF THE VILLAGE <br />CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE BY REDEFINING AND RESPECIFYING <br />DAYS WHICH SHALL BE HOLIDAYS. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 252.170 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read a s follows: <br /> <br />252 .l7 O. Holidays. The following shall be <br />official holidays for all employees subject to this <br />ordinance: New Year's Day, January l; Washington's <br />and Lincoln's Birthday, the third Monday in February; <br />Memorial Day, the last Monday in May; Independence <br />Day, July 4; Labor Day, the first Monday in September; <br />Christopher Columbus Day, the second Monday in October; <br />Veterans Day, the fourth Monday in October; Thanksgiving <br />Day, the fourth Thursday in November; and Christmas <br />Day, December 25; provided, when New Year's Day, <br />January l; or Independence Day, July 4; or Christmas Day, <br />December 25; falls on Sunday, the following day shall <br />be a holiday and, provided when New Year's Day, <br />January 1; or Independence Day, July 4; or Christmas <br />Day, December 25; falls on Saturday, the preceding day <br />shall be a holiday. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br /> <br />after its passage and publication. <br />
