EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23rdday of March , 1992 at The following members were present: Cushman, 'Maschka, Thomas, P. Johnson, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Member Thomas moved that the following resolution approving the reconveyance of certain property located in Thornton's Subdivision to the State of Minnesota, and the purchase of same by the City be adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 878$ APPROVAL OF RECONVEYANCE TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, AND PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN THORNTON'S SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, The City of Roseville was conveyed certain land located in Thornton's Subdivision by the State of Minnesota, for public use, legally described as follows: Subject to easement: except the North 150 feet and except the South 240 feet and except the East 147 feet of Lot 1, Thornton's Subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23: (known as PIN 13-29-23-11-0006) and The West 80 feet of the North 150 feet of Lot 1, Thornton's Subdivison of the NEl/4 of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23: (known as PIN 13-29-23-11-0005) WHEREAS, the City has no desire to use said land for park purposes and instead desires to use it for development purposes. State regulations require that the City reconvey the property to the State of Minnesota and purchase said property from the State, in order to entitle the City to put the land to the use intended by the City. WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has appraised the property as follows: Parcel known as PIN 13-29-23-11-0006 $97,943.79 Parcel known as PIN 13-29-23-11-0005 $24,844.20
