<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 679 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF ROSEVILLE BY REPEALING CHAPTERS 35, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42 and 43, <br />AND BY ADDING SECTIONS 34.010 and 34.340 to 34.400. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapters 35, 37, 38, 39, 41,42 and 43 of the Village Code of <br /> <br />the Village of Roseville are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Chapter 34 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville is amended <br /> <br />by adding Sections 34.010 and 34.340 to 34.400 to read as follows: <br /> <br />34.010 Owner. Owner includes his duly authorized agent <br />or attorney in fact, a purchaser, devisee, fiduciary and a person <br />having a vested interest in the property in question. <br /> <br />34.340 Workmanship Standards. The workmanship and <br />fabrication preparation and installation of materials shall conform <br />to generally accepted good practice. Specific provisions of this chapter <br />shall not be deemed to suspend any requirements of good practice. <br />which shall be regarded as supplementing or emphasizing them, and <br />shall be controlling. The council, as may be necessary, shall <br />promulgate rules in accordance with the provisions of the building <br />code, embodying the requirements of such generally accepted good <br />practice. <br /> <br />34.350 Dwellings, dimension. In every dwelling house <br />hereafter erected, there shall be at least three livable rooms, and <br />the over-all dimensions shall contain an area of not less than 960 <br />square feet, except that dwellings having two full floors may con- <br />tain a first floor area of not le s s than 768 square feet. No room, <br />except bath, shall be less than 7 feet wide. No livable room, <br />except kitchen, shall have a floor area of less than 90 square <br />feet. <br />
