<br />statement in any document required to be submitted under the <br />provisions hereof, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon <br />conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed <br />three hundred dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment of not to <br />exceed ninety (90) days or both. Each day that a violation con- <br />tinues shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> <br />93.280. Amendment. <br /> <br />(1) This ordinance may be amended whenever the <br />public nece s sity and the general welfare require such amendment <br />by folloWing the procedure specified in this Section. <br /> <br />(2) Requests for amendment of this Chapter shall be <br />initiated by a petition of the owner or owners of the actual property; <br />a recommendation of the Planning Commission; or by action of the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />(3) An application for an amendment shall be filed <br />with the Zoning Administrator. All applications for changes in the <br />boundaries of any zoning district which are initiated by the petition <br />of the owner or owners of the property, the zoning of which is <br />proposed to be changed, shall be accomplished by a map or plat <br />showing the lands proposed to be changed and all lands within five <br />hundred (500) feet of the boundaries of the property proposed to <br />be rezoned, together with a certificate of abstract showing the <br />names of registered property owners within three hundred fifty <br />(350) feet. <br /> <br />(4) Notice shall be sent by letter, when an amend- <br />ment application has been filed for change in district boundary, to <br />all property owners within Two hundred (200) feet as to the time <br />and place of the public hearing. <br /> <br />(5) Upon receipt in proper form of the application <br />and other requested material, the Planning Commission shall conduct <br />a public hearing in the manner prescribed in the Roseville Zoning <br />Code as described in Section 16.020. <br /> <br />(6) Following the public hearing, the Planning <br />Commission shall make a report of its recommendations on the <br />proposed amendments to the City Council within sixty (60) days <br />after the hearing. The council shall then conduct a hearing as <br />described in Roseville' s Zoning Code Section 16.030. <br /> <br />-15- <br />
