<br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 754 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO DISEASED TREE REMOVAL. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 210.030 of the City Code of the city of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended to read, as follows: <br /> <br />210.030. Summary Removal of Diseased Trees. In <br />the event that trees containing Dutch Elm Disease are <br />not removed by the property owner by the scheduled date <br />on the notice as provided in Section 210.020, the City <br />Manager or his designated employee shall cause said trees <br />to be summarily removed and take any other action necessary <br />to prevent the spread of said disease. Any costs of <br />inspecting and removing diseased trees, including any <br />legal expense, shall be itemized and mailed to the owner <br />at the address shown in the records of the County Auditor <br />In the event said itemized bill is not paid within thirty <br />days, said amount shall be certified to the proper county <br />official and collected with the next succeeding five <br />year's real estate taxes as provided for in Minnesota <br />Statutes.
