<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 762 <br /> <br />*********************************************************** <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE BY PROVIDING THAT A CLUB TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR <br />AN ON SALE LIQUOR LICENSE IS REQUIRED TO BE IN EXISTENCE <br />FOR FIFTEEN (15) YEARS AND NOT TWENTY (20) YEARS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 151.010(6) of the City Code of the City <br /> <br />of Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(6) "Club" means and includes any <br />corporation duly organized under the laws <br />of the State for civic, fraternal, social <br />or business purposes or for intellectual <br />improvement or for the promotion of sports <br />which has been in existence for more than <br />15 years, and any congressionally chartered <br />veterans' organization which has been in <br />existence for more than 10 years prior to <br />january 1, 1969, which shall have more than <br />fifty members, and which shall, for more than <br />a year have owned, hired or leased a building <br />or space in a building of such extent and <br />character as may be suitable and adequate for <br />the reasonable and comfortable accommodation <br />of its members and whose affairs and manage- <br />ment are conducted by a board of directors, <br />executive committee, or other similar body <br />chosen by the members of the club or to its <br />guests, beyond the amount of such reasonable <br />salary or wages as may be fixed and voted each <br />year by the directors or other governing body. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> <br />from and after its passage and publication. <br />
