<br />CI'IY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 770 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 66.210 REQUIRING CHARGES <br />FOR TAPPING OF WATER MAIN, INSTALLATION OF SERVICE LINE, <br />INSTALLATION OF CURB STOP AND BOX AND RESTORATION OF ROADWAY. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, ~linnesota, <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 66.210 (2) of the City Code 1S hereby amended <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />66.210 (2). Additional charges shall be paid at <br />the time of making application for tapping of water <br />main, installation of service line, installation of <br />curb stop and box and restoration of street surface, <br />where a curb box and service lead is not installed, <br />which charges shall be as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Where the installation is to be on <br />an unsurfaced street, the amount to be <br />charged shall be fixed by the Public Works <br />Director, based upon the estimated cost of <br />installing the service, plus $10.00 <br />administrative costs. <br /> <br />~) Where the installation is upon a <br />surfaced street, there shall be a $100.00 <br />fee for restoration of a typical road-mix <br />bituminous street, in addition to the <br />charge in (a) above, and for the restoration <br />of a higher type street, such fee as will be <br />set by the Public Works Director; all back <br />fill materials shall be mechanically compacted <br />in 12" layers to the density of the adj acent <br />material in the roadway area, in accordance <br />with the Minnesota Highway Department standard <br />specifications, to the existing street grade. <br />
