<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 779 <br />-- <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 66.310(4) OF THE <br />CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BY DECREASING THE ANNUAL <br />WATER RATE FOR USERS HAVING AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEMS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 66.310(4) of the City Code of the City <br /> <br />of Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />66.310. Water Rates. <br /> <br />(4) Where a connection is made to an <br />automatic sprinkler system for standby service <br />only on either municipal or private water mains, <br />a charge for such service shall be made on an <br />annual basis as follows: <br /> <br />2 inch pipe connection $ 8.00 <br />3 inch pipe connection $12.00 <br />4 inch pipe connection $16.00 <br />6 inch pipe connection $24.00 <br />8 inch pipe connection $32.00 <br />10 inch pipe connection $40.00 <br />12 inch pipe connection $48.00 <br /> <br />These rates shall apply in all cases where <br />automatic sprinklers are installed and <br />where fire gates and other outlets are <br />sealed. Meters or detector check valves <br />must be installed on such services as re- <br />quired by the Utilities Superintendent. An <br />additional charge for volume used based on Sec. 66.310 (1) <br />shall be due and payable by the user for <br />usage over 1,000 gallons per year. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br /> <br />from and after its passage and publication. <br />
