<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City <br />Hall on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of April, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, P. Johnson, Cushman, <br />Thomas, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8796 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1992 CONTRACT A <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on April 22, 1992, <br />at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />T. A. Schifsky and Sons <br />Palda and Sons <br />Ashbach Construction Co. <br />Forest Lake Contracting <br />Thomas and Sons <br />F. M. Frattalone Excavating <br />Arcon Construction <br />C. S. McCrossan Construction <br /> <br />$1,226,778.67 <br />$1,295,911.24 <br />$1,366,572.36 <br />$1,432,188.80 <br />$1,435,026.63 <br />$1,437,425.95 <br />$1,563,941.67 <br />$1,666,604.76 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons of N. st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$1,226,778.67. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons for $1,226,778.67 in <br />the name of the city of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
