<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 817 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE BY ADDING SECTIONS 87.140 AND 87.145 PROVIDING FOR <br />THE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OR PARKING <br />UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is amended <br /> <br />by adding 3ections 87.140 and 87.145, to read as follows: <br /> <br />87.140. Vehicular Parking or Traffic <br />'remporarily Prohibited. The Public Works <br />Director or the Chief of Police may temporarily <br />prohibit vehicular parking or traffic upon <br />any public street at such times as the Public <br />Works Department is performing maintenance or <br />making improvements to such streets or at such <br />times that a public safety emergency exists on <br />or near such streets. <br /> <br />87.145. Posting and Violations. Any <br />person parking or driving a vehicle on a public <br />street after it has been posted with signs by <br />the Public Works Director or the Chief of Police, <br />temporarily prohibiting vehicular parking or <br />traffic pursuant to Section 87.140, shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> <br />from and after its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Roseville, this <br /> <br />8th day of <br /> <br />May <br /> <br />, 1978. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />jk..c~a,. ~ <br /> <br />nager <br /> <br />. ~ <br />
