<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 825 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 132 TO THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING AND REGULATING <br />OF THE CONDUCT OF CERTAIN GAMBLING DEVICES AND OPERATIONS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />I . <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended <br /> <br />by adding Chapter 132, to read as follows: <br /> <br />132. Gambling Devices. <br /> <br />132.010 Incorporation by Reference. Unless <br />provisions in this Chapter 132 are inconsistent, <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 349.26, and Laws of <br />Minnesota, 1978, Chapter 507, relating to the <br />definition of terms, licensing and restriction <br />of certain gambling devices and operations, are <br />hereby adopted and incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br /> <br />132.020. Licensing. All organizations directly <br />or indirectly operating paddlewheels, tipboards <br />or raffles, shall be licensed by the City of <br />Roseville and shall pay the following annual <br />license fees: <br /> <br />(1) Paddlewheel - $100.00; <br />(2) Tipboard - $100.00; <br />(3) Raffle - $100.00. <br /> <br />132.030. Violations. Any violation of this <br />Chapter regulating gambling devices and the <br />licensing thereof, shall be punishable as a <br />misdemeanor and any person convicted for such <br />a violation shall be punished by a fine not to <br />exceed $500.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed <br />90 days, or both. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />
