<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 830 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE PROVIDING THAT OWNERS OF DOGS SHALL REPORT <br />CHANGES OF THEIR ADDRESS TO THE CITY AND BE CHARGED THE <br />SUM OF $1.00 FOR RECORDING SUCH CHANGE OF ADDRESS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 145.040 of the City Code of the City of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />145.040. License Required. All dogs kept or <br />maintained by their owner within the corporate <br />limits of the City of Roseville shall be licensed <br />and registered if over 3 months of age. Dog licenses <br />shall be issued by the City, upon payment of a fee <br />of $7.00 for each dog, whether it be male or female, <br />spayed or unspayed. Such license shall continue in <br />force for the life of the animal provided that the <br />owner shows proof every two years that the dog has <br />shots within that period and provided the owner <br />reports any change of address to the City and pays <br />the City $1.00 for changing the record of the <br />address. A certificate of vaccination authorized by <br />a licensed veterinarian for rabies shots must be <br />presented at the time of licensing and within <br />every two year anniversary date thereafter.
