CITY OF ROSEVILLE AN ORDINANCE NO. 836 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 71.020 and 71.030 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE CHANGING SEWER RATES AND CHARGES. The Ci ty Council of the City of Rosevi 11 e does hereby ordain: L Sections 71.020 and 71.030 of the City Code of the City of Roseville are amended to read as follows: 71.020. Re~idential Rates. Charges for sewer service shall be at the following rates for the following residential classifications: (I) Single Family Residence: $49.40 per year. (2) Single Family Residence in which the owner and head of the household is receiving Retirement Survivors Insurance or Disability Insurance under the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 301, as amended: $27.80 per year. The resident,to qualify for this rate, must file an affidavit with the City Council stating that the owner and head of such household is receiving Retirement Survivors Insurance or Disability Insurance under the Social Security Act 42 U.S.C. Section 301 as amended. (3) Duplexes or double bungalows containing two-family units: $98.80 per year. (4) Each townhouse unit: $49.40 per year. (5) Each trailer unit: $49.40 per year. (6) Multiple Dwellings (three or more units, except townhouses): $32.00 per year. 71.030. Commercial and Industrial Rates. The sewer rates for commercial, industrial, institutional and other users not covered by Section 71.020 shall be upon a volumetric charge based upon water consumption as follows: A sewer charge of 64 cents for each 1,000 gallons, or part thereof, of water consumption during the winter quarter water billing, subject to a minimum charge of $12.35 per quarter. II. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from January 1, 1979. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Rosevi1le, Minnesota this 18th day of December, 1978.
