CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 858 * * * * * * * AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 110 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BY ADOPTING THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION MODEL FOOD SERVICE SANITATION ORDINANCE. The City Council of the City of Rosevil1e does hereby ordain as follows: 1. Chapter 110 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended to read, in its entirety, as follows: 110. FOOD SERVICE SANITATION CODE. 110.010. Adoption of Food and Drug Administration Food Service Sanitation Model Ordinance. There is hereby adopted by the City of Roseville for the purpose of regulat- ing food service sanitation within the City that certain code known as the Food and Drug Administration Food Service Sanitation Ordinance, 1976 Edition, of which code not less than three copies have been and are now filed in the office of the City Manager and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, except for certain deletions, amendments, and additions as are more specifically set forth in Section 110.020. 110.020. Changes to Food and Drug Administration Food Service Sanitation Ordinance. Sections of the Food and Drug Adminstration Food Service Sanitation Ordinance, adopted by reference in Section 110.010, are amended, deleted or added as follows: (a) Sections 1-103, 1-104, and 1-105 shall be deleted in their entirety; Section 1-102(i) is amended to read as follows: "Food service establishment" means any place where food is prepared and intended for individual portion service, and includes the site at which individual portions are provided. The term includes any such place regardless of whether consumption is on or off the premises and regardless of whether there is a charge for the food. The term also includes delicatessen-type operations that prepare sandwiches intended for individual portion service. The term does not include private homes where food is prepared or served for
