<br />ORDINANCE NO. 861 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 252.170 SETTING FORTH THE OFFICIAL <br />HOLIDAYS FOR CITY EMPLOYEES. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 252.170 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />252.170. Official Holidays. The following shall be the official <br />holidays for all employees subject to this ordinance: New Year's Day, <br />January 1; President's Day, the third Monday in February; Memorial <br />Day, the last Monday in May; Independence Day, July 4; Labor Day, <br />the first Monday in September; Veterans Day, November 11, <br />Thanksgiving Day, the fourth Thursday in November; Post- <br />Thanksgiving Day, the day following Thanksgiving Day; Christmas <br />Day, December 25; and two (2) Floating Holidays annually, one (1) to <br />be designated by the Manager and one (1) to be scheduled with <br />permission of the employee's supervisor. When New Year's Day, <br />Independence Day, Veteran's Day or Christmas Day fall on a Sunday <br />the following day shall be a holiday. When New Year's Day, <br />Independence Day, Veteran's Day, or Christmas Day fall on a <br />Saturday, the preceding day shall be a holiday. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage <br />and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, this <br />25th day of February , 1980. <br /> <br />(-.. <br /> <br />'. ,..."
