<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 863 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING FUNERAL CHAPELS AS A USE BY <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN R-l ZONES <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby <br /> <br />amended by adding Sections 5.305 and 5.505, to read as follows: <br /> <br />5.305 Funeral Chapel. A facility where funeral arrange- <br />ments are made and memorial and/or funeral services for the dead are <br />held. This use does not include embalming or other preparation of dead <br />bodies for final disposition. Funeral chapels must be located adjacent <br />to a municipal state iad, county, state or federal roadway. <br /> <br />5.505 Mortuary. A facility where funeral arrangements <br />are made and/or funeral services for the dead are held and where dead <br />bodies are embalmed or otherwise prepared for final disposition. <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby <br />amended by adding Section 7.280, Subd. 7, to read as follows: <br />(7) Funeral Chapels. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> <br />from and after its passage and publication. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />this 12th day of May 1980. <br /> <br /> <br />-/ <br /> <br /> <br />//_.?- ..n.---f!~ <br />
