EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the city Hall in said City on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of May, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: P. Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Councilperson Cushman introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 8804 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR RAILROAD CROSSING IMPROVEMENTS, TERMINAL ROAD EAST OF WALNUT STREET, M-92-20 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the needs for improved railroad crossings on County Road C-2 and Terminal Road in the city of Roseville and has previously considered action regarding said railroad crossing improvements; and WHEREAS, it is not feasible to finance the cost of railroad crossing improvements on Terminal Road east of Walnut using normal Minnesota Department of Transportation funding; and WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the two railroad crossings serving the Winz warehouse complex and Boise Cascade by installing a rubberized railroad crossing and appurtenant facilities and to assess benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS: 1. Based on staff recommendation, the council directs that railroad crossing improvements on Terminal Road east of Walnut be included in the 1992 construction program. 2. The proposed improvements are referred to the City Public Works Director for study, and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
