<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 892 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE N1ENDING SECTIONS 71.020 AND 71.030 OF THE CITY <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE CHANGING SEWER RATES AND CHARGES <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Sections 71.020 and 71.030 of the City Code of the <br />City of Roseville are amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />71.020 Residential Rates. <br /> <br />Charges for sewer service shall be at the following <br />rates for the following residential classifications: <br /> <br />(1) Single Family Residence: $58.00 per year. <br /> <br />(2) Single Family Residence in which the owner and <br />head of the household is receiving Retirement Survivors Insur- <br />ance or Disability Insurance under the Social Security Act, 42 <br />U.S.C. Section 301, as amended: $33.40 per year. <br /> <br />The resident, to qualify for this rate must file an <br />affidavit with the City Council, stating that the owner and <br />head of such household is receiving Retirement Survivors Insur- <br />ance or Disability Insurance under the Social Security Act, 42 <br />U.S.C. Section 301 as amended. <br /> <br />(3) Duplexes or double bungalows containing two-family <br />units: $116.00 per year. <br /> <br />(4) Each townhouse unit: $58.00 per year. <br /> <br />(5) Each trailer unit: $58.00 per year. <br /> <br />( 6 ) <br />townhouses) : <br /> <br />Multiple Dwellings (three or more units, except <br />$38.00 per year. <br /> <br />71.030 Commercial and Industrial Rates. <br /> <br />The sewer rates for commercial, industrial, institu- <br />tional and other uses not covered by Section 71.020 shall be <br />upon a volumetric charge based upon water consumption as follows: <br /> <br />A sewer charge of 75 cents for each 1,000 gallons, or <br />part thereof, of water consumption during the winter quarter water <br />billing, subject to a minimum charge of $14.50 per quarter. <br />
