<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 893 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 66.310, SUBSECTIONS 1 AND 4, AND <br />SECTION 66.420, SUBSECTION 3 OF THE CITY CODE OF TIm CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE CHANGING WATER RATES AND CHARGES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Sections 66.310, Subsections 1 and 4, and Section 66.420, <br />Subsection 3 of the City Code of the City of Roseville are amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />66.310 Water Rates <br /> <br />(1) The rate due and payable by each water user within the <br />City for water taken from the water system commencing January 1, 1982, <br />shall be 78 cents per 1,000 gallons, payable quarterly, provided, how- <br />ever, that the minimum amount due and payable by each water user for <br />each quarter year period during which water service is furnished shall <br />be as follows: <br /> <br /> Meter Size Quarterly Minimum Charge <br /> 5/8 inch $ 9.90 <br /> 1 inch 19.90 <br />1 1/2 inch 39.70 <br /> 2 inch 59.60 <br /> 3 inch 119.10 <br /> 4 inch 178.70 <br /> 6 inch 297.70 <br /> 8 inch 595.40 <br /> 10 inch 893.20 <br /> 12 inch 1,190.90 <br /> <br />(2) Where a connection is made to an automatic sprinkler <br />system for standby service only on either municipal or private <br />watermains, a charge for such service shall be made on an annual <br />basis as follows: <br /> <br />2 inch pipe connection $10.00 <br />3 inch pipe connection 15.00 <br />4 inch pipe connection 20.00 <br />6 inch pipe connection 30.00 <br />8 inch pipe connection 40.00 <br />10 inch pipe connection 50.00 <br />12 inch pipe connection 60.00 <br /> <br />These rates shall apply in all cases where automatic sprinklers <br />are installed and where fire gates and other outlets are sealed. <br />Meters or detector check valves must be installed on such services <br />as required by the Utilities Superintendent. An additional charge <br />for volume used based on Section 66.310 (1) shall be due and payable <br />by the user for usage over 1,000 gallons per year. <br />
