<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 900 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 140.030 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, PERMITTING PLACEMENT OF REFUSE CONTAINERS AT <br />CURB SIDE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 140.030 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />140.030. Placing of Containers. Refuse containers <br />shall be placed at the rear of the premises, in a garage <br />or within five (5) feet of the garage or home located on <br />the premises. Plastic bags containing lawn refuse such <br />as grass clippings and leaves and refuse containers may <br />be placed at the curb side for collection, but in no event <br />shall they remain at the curb side for more than twenty-four <br />(24) consecutive hours. In no event shall containers be <br />placed or maintained in such a manner as to unreasonably <br />interfere with the use of adjoining property. Containers <br />kept outside shall be secured in such a manner as not to <br />permit entry or harborage of animals, insects, or vermin. <br />In multiple dwellings, containers shall be screened by <br />walls to prevent their view from eye level heights. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville this 22nd <br />day of February, 1982. <br /> <br />/7 <br />-- <br />/ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />I <br />"-./~ <br />Ma1r- <br />
