<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 901 <br />------..-- <br /> <br />"* <br /> <br />"* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />II- <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 70.020 OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE PROVIDING FOR DEFERRING CONNECTIONS TO <br />THE SANIT AR Y SEWER SYSTEM. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of RoseviHe does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 70.020 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended <br /> <br />to read as foHows: <br /> <br />70.020. Connection Required. Any building used <br />for human habitation and located on property adjacent to <br />a sewer main, or in a block through which the system <br />extends, shall be connected to the municipal sanitary <br />sewer system within two (2) years from the time a <br />connection is available to any such property. All buildings <br />constructed on property adjacent to a sewer main or in a <br />block through which the system extends shall be provided <br />with a connection to the municipal sanitary sewer system <br />for the disposal of all human wastes. In cases where the <br />owner of an existing building is receiving a senior citizens <br />deferral of special assessments for the cost of the sewer <br />main and no health hazard exists, the Council may defer <br />the requirement for a connection to the sanitary sewer <br />system until such time as the senior citizen deferral <br />expires or a health hazard exists. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage <br />and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of RoseviHe this 10th day of <br />MarcB_______________, 1982. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />-;7"~~-- <br />Mayot/',... <br /> <br />
