<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 912 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 145.120 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE BY REQUIRING THE IMPOUNDING OR QUARANTINE OF ANIMALS WHO <br />HAVE BITTEN A PERSON IN ALL CASES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Rosevil1e does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 145.120 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />145.120. Vicious Animals. Whenever the Chief of Police or City <br />Health Officer determines that any dog, cat or other animal has bitten any <br />person, such animal be deemed to be V1C10US for the purpose of this section. <br />Such animal may be impounded in the City pound or as otherwise designated <br />by the City Manager or his delegate for a period of ten days or more at <br />the expense of the owner of said animal. The animal shall not be released <br />from impound until it has been certified as free from rabies by a licensed <br />veterinarian. Except for the time limits, disposition and redemption <br />shall be in accordance with Section 145.080 and 145.090. Failure to <br />maintain quarantine at the specified location in accordance with this <br />Section shall be unlawful. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e this 27th day <br />of September , 1982. <br /> <br />/-'7 <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />'...
