<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 936 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 66.310, SUBSECTIONS 1 AND 4, AND SECTION <br />66.420, SUBSECTION 3 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE CHANGING <br />WATER RATES AND CHARGES <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Sections 66.310, Subsections 1 and 4, and Section 66.420, <br />Subsection 3 of the City Code of the City of Roseville are amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />66.310 Water Rates <br /> <br />(1) The rate due and payable by each water user within the City <br />for water taken from the water system commencing January 1, 1984, shall be 85 <br />cents per 1,000 gallons, payable quarterly, provided, however, that the minimum <br />amount due and payable by each water user for each quarter year period during <br />which water service is furnished shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> Meter Size Quarterly Minimum Charge <br /> 5/8 inch $ 10.80 <br />1 inch 21. 70 <br />1 1/2 inch 43.30 <br />2 inch 64.90 <br />3 inch 129.80 <br />4 inch 194.70 <br />6 inch 324.40 <br />8 inch 648.80 <br />10 inch 973.40 <br />12 inch 1,297.80 <br /> <br />(4) Where a connection is made to an automatic sprinkler system <br />for standby service, only on either municipal or private watermains, a <br />charge for such service shall be made on an annual basis as follows: <br /> <br />2 inch pipe connection $11. 00 <br />3 inch pipe connection 16.50 <br />4 inch pipe connection 22.00 <br />6 inch pipe connection 33.00 <br />8 inch pipe connection 44.00 <br />10 inch pipe connection 55.00 <br />12 inch pipe connection 66.00 <br /> <br />These rates shall apply in all cases where automatic sprinklers are installed <br />and where fire gates and other outlets are sealed. Meters or detector check <br />valves must be installed on such services as required by the Utilities <br />Superintendent. An additional charge for volume used based on Section <br />66.310 (1) shall be due and payable by the user for usage over 1,000 gallons <br />per year. <br />
