CITY OF ROSEVILLE AN ORDINANCE NO. 936 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 66.310, SUBSECTIONS 1 AND 4, AND SECTION 66.420, SUBSECTION 3 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE CHANGING WATER RATES AND CHARGES The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: 1. Sections 66.310, Subsections 1 and 4, and Section 66.420, Subsection 3 of the City Code of the City of Roseville are amended to read as follows: 66.310 Water Rates (1) The rate due and payable by each water user within the City for water taken from the water system commencing January 1, 1984, shall be 85 cents per 1,000 gallons, payable quarterly, provided, however, that the minimum amount due and payable by each water user for each quarter year period during which water service is furnished shall be as follows: Meter Size Quarterly Minimum Charge 5/8 inch $ 10.80 1 inch 21. 70 1 1/2 inch 43.30 2 inch 64.90 3 inch 129.80 4 inch 194.70 6 inch 324.40 8 inch 648.80 10 inch 973.40 12 inch 1,297.80 (4) Where a connection is made to an automatic sprinkler system for standby service, only on either municipal or private watermains, a charge for such service shall be made on an annual basis as follows: 2 inch pipe connection $11. 00 3 inch pipe connection 16.50 4 inch pipe connection 22.00 6 inch pipe connection 33.00 8 inch pipe connection 44.00 10 inch pipe connection 55.00 12 inch pipe connection 66.00 These rates shall apply in all cases where automatic sprinklers are installed and where fire gates and other outlets are sealed. Meters or detector check valves must be installed on such services as required by the Utilities Superintendent. An additional charge for volume used based on Section 66.310 (1) shall be due and payable by the user for usage over 1,000 gallons per year.
