<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 940 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 145.120 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE REQUIRING THE IMPOUNDING OF VICIOUS ANIMALS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 145.120 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />145.120. Vicious Animals. Whenever the Chief <br />of Police or City Health Officer determines that any <br />dog, cat or other animal has bitten any person, such <br />animal shall be deemed to be vicious for the purpose <br />of this section. Such animal may be impounded in the <br />City pound or as otherwise designated by the City <br />Manager or his delegate for a period of ten days or <br />more at the expense of the owner of said animal. The <br />animal shall not be released from impound until it <br />has been inspected by a representative of the City. <br />Except for the time limits, disposition and redemp- <br />tion shall be in accordance with Section 145.080 and <br />145.090.
