CITY OF ROSEVILLE AN ORDINANCE NO. 941 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 16.010, 16.020, 16.030, and 16.040, BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1) TO SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT (S.C.). WHEREAS, Pursuant to Sections 16.010, 16.020, 16.030, and 16.040 of the Zoning Code of the City of Rosevil1e, the property owner filed an application with the City Manager in the form of a written request to rezone from Sing1e- Family Residence District (R-1) to Shopping Center District (S.C.) certain real property hereinafter described lying and being in the City of Rosevi11e, Ramsey County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the City Council by motion referred the same to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, upon due notice, held a public hearing on said matter on the 4th day of January, 1984, and made its recommendation to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after due notice, held a public hearing on said matter on the 9th day of January, 1984, at its regular meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO SAID HEARING AND THE ABOVE PROCEDURE: The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Rosevi11e is hereby amended by re- classifying the following described property: The West 65 feet of the East 165 feet of the following described property: Lot 1, Block 2, Roseda1e Center First Addition, Ramsey County, except that part thereof lying Westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 535.64 feet Easterly of, as measured at right angles to, the most Westerly line of said Lot 1, and lying Southerly of a line drawn parallel with and 306.00 feet Northerly of, as measured at right angles to, that portion of the Southerly line of said Lot 1, which has a bearing of S890 40' 27" East and a distance of 688.12 feet on the recorded plat of said Roseda1e Center First Addition. from R-1 to S.C.
