<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 959 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 140 AND 141 OF THE CITY <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE EXEMPTING NONPROFIT RECYCLING <br />ORGANIZA TIONS FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE GARBAGE, RUBBISH, <br />AND TRASH COLLECTORS REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 140 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is amended by adding <br /> <br />a new Section 140.120, to read as follows: <br /> <br />140.120. Recycling Organizations. Nonprofit recycling or- <br />ganizations approved by the City Manager are exempted from the <br />trash receptacle requirements of Chapter 140. Nonprofit recycling <br />organizations are nonprofit organizations which pick up and reprocess <br />metal, glass, paper, automobile oil, and batteries, not including any <br />other garbage, rubbish, or waste materials. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Section 141.010 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is amended to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />141.010. License Required. No person shall collect garbage <br />or rubbish without a license to do so as required by this Chapter, and <br />payment of the license fee.
