<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall <br />on Monday, the thirteenth day of July, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, P. Johnson, Maschka, Thomas, <br />and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8814 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CITY PROJECT M-92-22 <br />PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING AND WATER BOOSTER <br />STATION RE-ROOFING <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according <br />to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the <br />Manager of said City, said bids were received on June 30, 1992, opened and <br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying <br />with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />McPhillips Bros. Roofing Co. <br />Palmer West Construction Co., Inc. <br />Dalco Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. <br /> <br />$115,950.00 <br />$148,500.00 <br />$175,837.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that McPhillips Bros. Roofing Co. of N. st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$115,950.00 for the base bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the city of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />a contract with McPhillips Bros. Roofing Co. for $115,950.00 in the <br />name of the City of Roseville for the above improvement according to <br />the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith <br />·to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits <br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until contracts have been signed. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember Cushman and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, P. Johnson, <br />Maschka, Thomas, and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
