<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE No. ~ <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 87.160(1) OF THE <br />CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE PERTAINING TO FIRE LANES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 87.160(1) of the city Code of the city of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(1) In order to establish areas of access <br />for firefighting equipment, the fire chief may <br />designate fire lanes along the curb of public and <br />private roadways adjacent to buildings and within <br />the parking lots of public and private property. <br />within thirty (30) days of notification of such <br />designation, in writing, by the fire chief, the <br />owner of the property adjacent to such fire lanes <br />shall, at the property owner's expense: <br /> <br />(a) Post and maintain signs approved by <br />the Fire Chief reading, in substance, "NO PARKING - <br />FIRE LANE." Such signs shall be posted at each <br />end of the fire lane and at least at everyone <br />hundred (100) foot interval within the fire lane. <br /> <br />(b) Paint and maintain the painting of <br />the curbing along the fire lanes in a yellow <br />color. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br /> <br />from and after its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> <br />Minnesota, this ~ day of <br /> <br />September <br /> <br />, 1985. <br /> <br /> <br />..JL <br /> <br />~A~~~ <br /> <br />yor <br /> <br />v <br />
