<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 991 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 252.170 OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ADDING MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.'S BIRTHDAY <br />AS A HOLIDAY. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br />ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 252.170 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />252.170. Official Holidays. The following shall <br />be the official holidays for all employees subject to <br />this ordinance: New Year's Day, January 1; Martin <br />Luther King, Jr., Birthday, the third Monday in <br />January; President's Day, the third Monday in February; <br />Memorial Day, the last Monday in May; Independence Day, <br />July 4; Labor Day, the first Monday in September; <br />Veteran's Day, November 11; Thanksgiving Day, the <br />fourth Thursday in November, Post-Thanksgiving Day, the <br />day following Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day, December <br />25; and one (1) Floating Holiday annually, to be <br />designated by the Manager. When New Year's Day, <br />Independence Day, Veteran's Day or Christmas Day fall <br />on a Sunday, the following day shall be a holiday. <br />When New Year's Day, Independence Day, Veteran's Day, <br />or Christmas Day fall on a Saturday, the preceding day <br />shall be a holiday. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville this 13th <br />day of January , 1986. <br /> <br />Mayk~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />( /) ,I <br />.
