<br />The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the <br /> <br />consideration of objections, if any, to said proposed asses~- <br />ment. OLE RICE, 1975 M.lvern: Felt the amount of his assessment <br />was too high. <br /> <br />MR. CHARLES AREND, representing st. Paul Terminal Warehouse Co., <br />429 N. Prior: Referred to a tri.ngular piece of property bounded <br />by County Road B-2, Walnut and Minnesota Transfer. Purchased <br />part of their property from Minnesota Transfer and paid an extra <br />amount ~t the time of purchase for the construction of streets. <br />Therefore, they feel their assessment is too high. <br /> <br />MR. ROBERT CARR, 2390 Fulham: Thinks the assessment is too <br />high for residential property. <br /> <br />MR. FRANK GRAHAM of Briggs & Morgan, representing Ruan Transport <br />Company: referred to the property at the southeast corner of <br />County Road C just where Long Lake Road comes into County Road C. <br />They have been assessed for 306 feet on Long Lake Road. He said <br />they objected at the feasibility hearing on the grounds that this <br />road was not necessary and would not benefit their property. In <br />addition, this is an odd shaped piece of property - 306 feet at the <br />front and about 280 feet at the rear. <br />
