<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City <br />Hall in said City on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of August, 1992, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, P. <br />Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />councilperson P. Johnson introduced and moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8831 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. UL-92-26 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the installation of an ornamental <br />street light on Heinel Drive at the end of the cul-de-sac being <br />constructed as part of the 1992 PMP project, filed with the City Council <br />on August 14, 1992, is hereby declared to be signed by the required <br />percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is <br />made in conforming to Minnesota Statute, section 429.035 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to the City Public Works Director <br />for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should <br />best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, <br />and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilperson Cushman and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Cushman, P. Johnson, and <br />V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: Thomas. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
