EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 21st day of September, 1992, at 7:00 p.m. The following members were present: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8835 RESOLUTION FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF FERNWOOD STREET WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said portion of Fernwood Street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, because the said street right-of-way is no longer necessary for public street purposes and is necessary for other pUblic purposes; and WHEREAS, the ci ty Council has determined that the vacation of the street would not be detrimental to the general health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the community; and WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said portion of Fernwood Street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates said portion of Fernwood Street over the property described as follows: ALL THAT PORTION OF FERNWOOD STREET IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 29, RANGE 23, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA LYING SOUTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF WOODHILL DRIVE AND LYING NORTH OF THE NORTH LINE OF COUNTY ROAD C. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member P. Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
