<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTBS OF MEBTING <br />.OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSBVILLB <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly <br />held in the city Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, <br />on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of September, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, <br />Thomas, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8836 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. M-92-28 <br />PURSUANT TO PETITION BY 100% OF OWNERS OF AFFECTED PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received a petition from all owners of the <br />real property abutting the alley from Western Avenue easterly <br />approximately 300 feet in the City of Roseville requesting that the <br />Council pave the alley lying easterly of Western Avenue and southerly of <br />S. McCarrons Boulevard in Rolling Green and requesting that the entire <br />cost of said improvement be assessed against their property with the <br />understanding that petitioning properties would be fully responsible for <br />all future maintenance of the alley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city's contractor for 1992 Pavement Management Program <br />Contract A is presently working in this area and could construct this <br />alley in 1992; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The aforesaid petition is signed by the owner of all property <br />affected by said requested improvement in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.031, Subd. 3. <br /> <br />2. Said improvement is feasible and is hereby ordered as proposed <br />in the report of the City Public Works Director. <br /> <br />3. The City Public Works Director is hereby designated as the <br />engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and <br />specifications for the making of such improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cushman and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Cushman, <br />Maschka, Thomas, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the <br />same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
