EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF 1vlEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD FEBRUARY IS, 1965 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on February IS, 1965, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich. Grauel and Shields and the following members were absent: None Member Grauel moved its adoption: introduced the following Resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 1162 WHEREAS, the Village Council of Roseville passed Resolution No. 650 on November 26, 1962, applying for a grant under Title VII of the Housing Act of 1961, and WHEREAS, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the regulations of the Housing and Home Finance Agency effectualing that title, provide that no person shall be discriminated against because of race, color, or national origin in the use of the land proposed to be acquired; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE that Resolution No. 650 be amended to include the provision that the United States of America and the Housing and Home Finance Administration be, and they hereby are, assured of full compliance by the Village of Roseville with regulations of the Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Shields , and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
