<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF 1vlEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD FEBRUARY IS, 1965 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on February IS, <br />1965, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich. Grauel <br />and Shields <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Grauel <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1162 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council of Roseville passed Resolution No. 650 <br />on November 26, 1962, applying for a grant under Title VII of the Housing <br />Act of 1961, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the regulations <br />of the Housing and Home Finance Agency effectualing that title, provide <br />that no person shall be discriminated against because of race, color, or <br />national origin in the use of the land proposed to be acquired; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />that Resolution No. 650 be amended to include the provision that the <br />United States of America and the Housing and Home Finance Administration <br />be, and they hereby are, assured of full compliance by the Village of <br />Roseville with regulations of the Housing and Home Finance Agency <br />effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Shields , and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following members voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
