<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF '!HE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON MARCH I, 1965 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br /> <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br /> <br />duly held in the Village Hall, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, St. Paul, <br /> <br />Minnesota on Monday, the 1st day of March, 1965 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Curley, Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Trustee Goodrich <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />Curley <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />moved its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1164 <br /> <br />iiliEREAS, it is proposed to improve Albert Street between the <br />north right-of-way line of County Road B and the south right-of-way <br />line of Commerce Street by widening and resurfacing existing portions <br />of tlle street and construction of that section of the street between <br />Sandhurst Drive and Commerce Street, together with the necessary <br />installation of curb and gutter and storm drain appurtenances and to <br />assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 421.011 to 429.111 <br />(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of <br />Roseville, ~linnesota, that the proposed improvement be referred to <br />the Banister Engineering Company for study and that the Banister Engineer- <br />ing Company be instructed to report to the Council with all convenient <br />speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the pro- <br />posed improvement is feasible and as to whether it best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated <br />cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the ado~tion of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Shields and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
