EXTRACT OF MINU'lliS OF r~ETING OF THE VILLAGE COW~CIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON ~~RCH 1, 1965 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call ffild notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota on Monday, the 1st day of ~arch, 1965 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. lhe following members were present: Trustees Curley, Grauel and Shields Mayor Cedarholm, and the following were absent: Trustee Goodrich i'ilember Shields introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 1165 WHEKEAS, it is proposed to improve Commerce Street between the east right-of-way line of Pascal Avenue and the west right-af-way line of Albert Street by construction of the street, together with curb and gutter and necessary storm sewer appurtenances and to assess the benefitted property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398 as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, that the proposed improvement be referred to the Banister Engineering Company for study and that the Banister Engineering Company be instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the pro- posed improvement is feasible and as to whether it best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Shields and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
