EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF 'ruE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD APRIL 26, 1965 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on April 26, 1965, at 4:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich and Shields and the following members were absent: Trustee Grauel Memb er Goodrich its adoption: introduced the following Resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. 1206 RESOLUTION URGING ADOPTION OF LEGISLATION INCREASING BENEFITS OF FIREMEN'S SERVICE PENSION MiEREAS, the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, adopted Resolution No. 1124 on December 21, 1964, urging that Senator Claude H. Allen and Representative Robert O. Ashbach introduce legislation for the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department Relief Association increasing the pension of the members thereof; and WHEREAS, AN Actuary, Mr. Richard Glewwe, has been retained by the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department Relief Association to determine the proper funding of such a pension plan; and WHEREAS, the Actuary determination indicates that the annual cost to the Village for such a pension plan would exceed the present annual revenue to the pension fund by $2,583.00 requiring additional financing by the Village Council from ad valorem taxes or other revenue sources; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village CQuncil of the Village of Roseville, that the Legislature of the State of Minnesota be urged to adopt the attached exhibit as a bill pertaining to the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department Relief Association. The Village Manager is hereby directed to certify a copy of this resolution and send it to the office of Senator Claude H. Allen and Representative Robert O. Ashbach, together with a copy of the report from the Actuary. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Shields and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
