<br />Member <br /> <br />Shields <br /> <br />then introduced and moved the <br /> <br />adoption of the following resolution: <br />Re solut ion No. 1209 <br />RESOLlJrION ORDERING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT <br />Project No. 65-9 UNDER AND PURSUANT TO <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429, AS AMENDED. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing <br />pursuant to published notice, on proposed Storm Sewer Improvement <br />Project 65-9 consisting of a system of lateral and trunk storm sewers <br />of approximately 3500 lineal feet and ranging in size from 15 inch <br />through 30 inch. This system will collect waters in the general <br />vicinity of Lovell Avenue between Mackubin Street extended and <br />Western Avenue. These storm waters will be collected and discharged <br />to follow existing open ditches to reach McCarrons Lake, at a cost <br />estimated presently to be approximately $73,600, all substantially <br />in accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now <br />on file in the office of the Village Clerk; and having considered <br />the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the <br />premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said <br />improvement shall be constructed and financed, and special assess- <br />ments shall be levied therefor, pursuant to said Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, and that the area proposed to be assessed <br />for said improvement will consist of the property as described in <br />the notice of hearing, or portion thereof; and that Banister En- <br />gineering Company is hereby directed to prepare and submit to the <br />Council final plans and specifications for the construction of said <br />improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by <br /> <br />Membe r Gl:au~ 1 <br /> <br />____, and upon roll call vote <br /> <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and Shields <br />and the following aga inst : None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />4 <br />
