<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSBVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall <br />on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of September, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, <br />and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Thomas introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8848 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID POR CITY PROJECT M-92-23 <br />DEMOLITION, GRADING, AND SITE UTILITIES <br />JOHN ROSE MINNESOTA OVAL <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according <br />to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the <br />Manager of said City, said bids were received on september 22, 1992, opened <br />and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received <br />complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />BASE BID PLUS <br />ALTERNATES 1, 3, , 4 <br /> <br />F. M. Frattalone Excavating of st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$285,878.70 for the base bid plus Alternates 1, 3, and 4 (10,000 c.y. <br />excess); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />a contract with F. M. Frattalone Excavating for $285,878.70 in the <br />name of the City of Roseville for the above improvement according to <br />the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City <br />council and on file in the office of the City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith <br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits <br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until contracts have been signed. <br />
